In happier news, I got my Anbernic RG35XXSP running with muOS. It's twisting my melon to play Final Fantasy VII on what looks like a Game Boy Advance SP

One of the really nice things about what landed recently in muOS is that closing the clamshell puts the device to sleep (like ye olde SP) and will also shut the thing down entirely after a configurable time limit to save battery. And it boots up back into the game from power-off within about 20 seconds - or instantly if it's just sleeping

@paulmison Hmm, yeah, I might be thinking about the NDS 🤔

I want to say there were a few GBA games with a sleep function, but it wasn't universal on all games with lid closure

@mathowie This number absolutely infests all my dumb code on github 😅 github.com/search?q=user%3Almo

general subtoot on tech culture

a repeated experience: oh hey this project looks cool...? oh... ah, shit. nope. fuck this project

So I've run out of peanuts. I'm reticent to go eat lunch out on my deck for fear of being bullied by squirrels and scrub jays who have come to expect that I am the Peanut Man.
