Update: I forgot how demanding a newborn Tamagotchi is.
I may find that the batteries in this Tamagotchi are more urgently needed elsewhere, like in a drawer
BREAKING NEWS this #cat was scared by thunder and hid out at the back of my closet for a few hours but came out for a meat tube treat and flopped over to nap
Also, our power is back on. I think I made it happen by getting my batteries and AC inverter working, pulling the fridge out from the wall, and running an extension cord up to plug it in.
